Yellow Gold

Pure gold consists of 24 karats and is naturally too soft for everyday bridal jewellery. To enhance its strength and durability, it is alloyed with other metals, which also allows for subtle variations in colour.

14 karat yellow gold contains 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloy. It offers a soft, warm golden hue that is both timeless and elegant. This alloy is especially flattering on fair skin tones and pairs beautifully with champagne and coloured moissanites, allowing the gemstone’s natural vibrancy to take centre stage.

18 karat yellow gold is composed of 75% pure gold and 25% alloy, resulting in a richer, more luxurious golden tone. Its depth of colour complements exceptional moissanites and lab-grown diamonds, making it a truly refined choice for a forever ring.

White Gold

White gold does not occur naturally. It is created by blending pure yellow gold with carefully selected alloys to achieve its white appearance. All of our white gold is crafted using premium alloys, including palladium, along with other base metals to enhance strength and durability.

To achieve its bright, lustrous finish, white gold is plated with rhodium. Over time, this plating naturally wears and requires re-rhodium plating approximately once per year to maintain its brilliance. This maintenance service is available through us to ensure your jewellery continues to look its best.

Both 14 karat and 18 karat white gold appear identical in colour, as each is finished with rhodium plating. As with yellow gold, 14 karat white gold contains 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloy, while 18 karat white gold consists of 75% pure gold and 25% alloy, offering the same visual beauty with differing gold content.

Platinum

Platinum is a naturally white precious metal, prized for its exceptional density and durability. Compared to white gold, platinum is heavier, stronger, and maintains its integrity over time, with minimal metal loss even after years of wear.

Because platinum is naturally white, it does not require rhodium plating, ensuring its colour remains consistent throughout the life of the ring. Our platinum is of exceptional purity, composed of 95% pure platinum and 5% alloy, providing superior strength while preserving its refined, timeless appearance.

Rose Gold

Rose gold, also known as red or pink gold, is made up of pure yellow gold and copper. Complimentary to fairer skin tones with pink undertones. Rose gold isn’t considered hypoallergenic due to the significant amounts of copper alloy. This creates the distinctive rose colour we love, however it can be irritating to sensitive skin.

14 karat rose gold contains 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloy, primarily copper. It has a beautiful soft and subtle rose colour.

18 karat rose gold contains 75% pure gold and 25% alloy, primarily copper. 18 karat rose gold is more lustrous and has a deeper rose hue.
